Sources for exam facts

We use the FAA’s certification guidance, testing matrix and annual statistics, together with the UAG applicant bulletin from the FAA’s testing provider. Public exam guides show the date on which their information was checked. A dated statistical result is labelled with its reporting year.

Course information and results

Course counts describe our published material, not the FAA’s active test bank. National pass statistics are clearly separated from Airspace School outcomes. We do not publish a student pass-rate percentage without verified outcome data.

Independent preparation

Airspace School is an independent study service operated by LaneApps Limited. It is not affiliated with the FAA, does not administer the official knowledge test and does not issue the Remote Pilot Certificate.
