FAA Part 107 preparation
Free FAA Part 107 study resources and samples
What you need to know
Yes. The FAA provides standards, study resources and sample-question materials. A paid preparation course is optional; it is not a condition of applying for a Remote Pilot Certificate.
Self-study means organising the topics and finding explanations for anything you do not understand. A course adds a teaching sequence and a place to practise. Start by looking at the official resources, then try our lesson and decide whether that structure is useful to you.
What to check before choosing
- Does the sample lesson explain the idea in a way you understand?
- Can you practise by topic and attempt timed papers?
- How long does access last, and is renewal automatic?
- What support is included, and what conditions apply to a refund or guarantee?
- Are quoted prices current, and is the official exam fee separate?
Compare the current provider pages rather than relying on an old offer or a headline pass-rate claim.
