FAA Part 107 preparation
After passing Part 107: certificate and recurrent training
Passing the UAG knowledge test is a step towards the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. You still need to complete the certificate application and the FAA’s processing requirements.

Apply through IACRA
Follow the FAA’s instructions to submit the remote pilot application using Form 8710-13 in IACRA. You will use the knowledge-test information in that process. Keep your result report and check the official application guidance if the record is not yet available.
Temporary and permanent certificates
The FAA explains that security screening and application processing follow. Follow its instructions for the temporary certificate and delivery of the permanent certificate. Do not treat a course completion screen or mock result as a Remote Pilot Certificate.
Keep your aeronautical knowledge current
Part 107 pilots must meet the applicable aeronautical knowledge recency requirement. The FAA provides online recurrent training at no cost; its guidance describes the requirement within the previous 24 calendar months and the course appropriate to your circumstances.
Continue reviewing the material you use
Your Airspace School access lasts 12 months from the verified purchase. During that period you can return to explanations and saved study activity. Course access duration is separate from FAA certification and recency requirements.
Before an actual operation, use current official rules, restrictions and information. These course resources are exam study material, not navigation data, practical flight instruction or approval for a particular flight.
