EASA STS preparation
What STS practice questions ask you to do
Prepare for STS multiple-choice questions by identifying the rule, the relevant conditions and the meaning of each quantity.

Read the conditions before the numbers
A question about a flight may change when it specifies STS-01 or STS-02, an airspace observer, a C5 or C6 drone, or a contingency procedure. Identify the applicable scenario first. Do not silently add permissions or facts that the question has not supplied.
Make the answer meaningful
Where a question uses a measurement, identify what is being measured and where it starts. Where it asks about a procedure, identify the trigger and the person responsible. Then compare all choices. A familiar number or a phrase you remember from the course can still answer a different question.
Use feedback to diagnose an error
Airspace School's EU samples use four choices with one correct answer. The official examining body confirms its own presentation and instructions. After answering, decide whether your mistake came from a missing fact, a confused term or an overlooked condition. Return to that part of the lesson and attempt another example later.
Try the original questions or check the official examination requirements.
