EASA STS preparation
How to book the European STS theory examination
Check your STS examining body, prerequisite evidence and examination route, then arrange the practical qualification separately.

Choose an official examination route
Use the national aviation authority’s own information or a body it designates. The country guide links to official starting points. Check eligibility if using an examining body outside your country, including identification and the acceptance of prior certificates.
Confirm whether the A2-holder route applies
State which qualification you hold and ask what evidence is required. The European framework provides a reduced examination requirement for A2 certificate holders. Do not book an examination on the assumption that its form will be changed automatically when you arrive.
Check the practical arrangements and separate costs
Confirm language, question count, duration, proctoring, permitted materials, fee, attempts and retake process. Ask how and when the theory certificate is issued. Then arrange the required practical training and assessment for the relevant standard scenario with a suitable provider.
Airspace School does not book the official exam or provide practical accreditation. Compare the complete cost of the route, including any exam and practical fees, rather than only the study subscription.
