EASA A2 preparation

Choosing an A2 examining body or training provider

Separate optional A2 theory preparation from the official examination and the required practical self-training.

Check the examining body with the authority

The A2 examination is provided by the competent authority or an entity it designates. Verify that role through an official authority source. A website offering lessons, displaying an EASA logo or quoting the syllabus is not by itself evidence that it may conduct the official exam.

Confirm the service and applicant requirements

Ask whether you are paying for lessons, an exam attempt, retakes or a package. Check the exam language, accepted A1/A3 evidence, practical declaration, identity documents and any residency requirements. Confirm the assessment method and permitted materials before choosing an online or in-person route.

Compare teaching separately

A2 theory preparation can be self-study or supported by a course. Airspace School provides independent study material, not the official exam or certificate. Try a lesson and inspect an answer explanation before buying. Check access duration, support and cancellation rather than relying on an advertised question count alone.

Explore the country guide and use the authority link to verify the current arrangement.
