EASA A2 preparation
A2 pass mark and checking your preparation
Distinguish the A2 examination pass mark from a course score or an unsupported claim about how many candidates pass.

A threshold is not a pass rate
The official A2 threshold is at least 75% of the overall marks. A pass rate would describe how many people in a defined group passed a particular examination during a stated period. These are different measures. We do not publish an unverified Europe-wide A2 pass rate or a guaranteed Airspace School pass rate.
Look for consistent understanding
Try to explain why the correct choice applies and why the alternatives do not. Review questions you guessed correctly. Check all three subject areas: a strong score in a familiar weather topic does not establish that you can handle payload or ground-risk questions.
Use timed papers without treating them as predictions
Attempt a mock after covering the course, then identify repeated weaknesses and the tasks that took too long. A fresh question is a better check of understanding than a remembered answer on a repeated paper. Use the result to choose your next study session.
Follow the study plan and confirm the official marking arrangements with your examining body.
